Job Title: Operations Manager

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the aggregation centre and project management. This includes networking with various companies, vendors, and stakeholders to identify suitable sources of raw materials.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Manage segregation of scrap based on quality standards.
    • Lead site-level production teams to ensure production meets targets.
    • Suggest go-to-market strategies for sales (recyclers and manufacturers).
    • Work with partners to add value to feedstock.
    • Create a market for different items of polyolefins (HDPE and PP).
    • Manage factory compliance and performance metrics.
    • Implement standard operating procedures for plastic waste aggregation, segregation, QA, and QC.
    • Continuously improve processes to optimize performance using lean manufacturing principles and six sigma design processes.
    • Identify and implement key projects and kaizens to increase productivity.
    • Ensure timely completion of projects within approved budgets.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Provide regular reports on project progress.
    • Standardize machine inspection check sheets and operation check sheets at site level.
    • Ensure segregation is carried out as per required quality standards.

  • Prioritize workload effectively.
  • Demonstrate professionalism at all times.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and protocols.
  • Maintain data confidentiality and security.
  • Will to travel frequently across locations, sometimes at short notice.
  • Ability to work closely with the team and partners.
