About This Role

As a senior price analyst, you will cover the global ferroalloys and bulk ores markets, with a focus on India.

Working closely with industry-leading journalists and analysts, you will report to a director-level manager.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide weekly market updates for ferroalloys and bulk ores, focusing on Indian markets.
  • Collaborate in launching new price assessments, defining specifications, and gathering market feedback.
  • Develop news content on ferroalloys and bulk ores, working with reporters from Africa and Europe.
  • Write periodic articles on topical industry issues, such as regulatory developments and geopolitical events.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, sharing and sourcing market intelligence.
  • Engage in business development, assisting account managers in sales processes and pipeline management.
  • Represent the organization in the ferroalloys space through client engagements, presentations, media interviews, and content marketing.

What We Need

  • 2-4 years of experience in the steel or steel raw materials industries and/or markets.
  • Experience covering ferroalloys, bulk ores, or related markets as a journalist, analyst, or price reporter.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with demonstrable impact and influence.
  • Strong quantitative skills and ability to present complex information.
  • Exemplary written communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work within a team, manage others, and maintain personal output.

Additional Requirements

  • Steel or steel raw materials industry knowledge.
