Strategic Risk Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Risk Advisor to enhance our risk management capabilities and drive business growth.

This critical role will lead the transformation of complex policies into actionable strategies, covering risk assessment, mitigation, and compliance.

The successful candidate will play a key role in establishing standardized risk frameworks that can be rapidly deployed across markets, ensuring scalability and compliance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Translate complex policies into implementable strategies and configurable rules.
  • Design and maintain risk models for credit, fraud, and KYC/CDD/AML processes.
  • Develop reusable integration frameworks for third-party risk services.
  • Define and monitor risk metrics to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 7+ years of experience in risk management or fintech, with expertise in credit, fraud, or KYC/CDD/AML implementations.
  • Strong ability to translate policies into actionable strategies and configurable rules.
  • Proficiency in requirement documentation, BPMN modeling, and API-first design.
  • Hands-on experience with third-party risk service integrations and knowledge of regulatory frameworks (AML/CFT).
  • Skilled in SQL/BI tools for risk analytics and reporting.
  • Experience with multi-tenant configurations, risk dashboards, and stakeholder management.

Additional Responsibilities:

The Strategic Risk Advisor will also be responsible for:

  • Owning the functional architecture of risk management systems, ensuring scalability and compliance.
  • Translating business and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable strategies for development teams.
  • Championing configuration-first development by leveraging dynamic forms and server-driven UI components.
  • Maintaining cross-platform consistency and ensuring feature parity across multiple markets.
  • Establishing and optimizing processes for requirement gathering, documentation, and analytics-driven enhancements.
