Credit Audit Expert

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Credit Audit Expert to lead and participate in comprehensive business credit audits of Wholesale Banking segment and SMEs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in conducting thorough reviews of pre and post sanction, disbursement, and monitoring processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead or participate in all business credit audits and supervise a team of auditors.
  • Ensure timely commencement and closure of audits, including documentation of working papers.
  • Prepare and submit audit reports within the stipulated timeframe.
  • Timely submission of RBI data, Tranche III, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain the quality of audit reports, ensuring correctness, consistency of data furnished, emphasis on policies, internal guidelines, process, practices, and people, revenue assurance, and risk coverage.
  • Carry out other assignments such as review of process, thematic audit, checklists, and special audits.
  • Coordinate with concurrent auditors for effective monitoring and ensuring the quality of concurrent audit reports.
  • Examine and provide comfort to the Team Lead Audit on all developments in Credit related areas to ensure regulatory and other control requirements of the Bank.
  • Develop audit checklists for use by internal/concurrent auditors and test processes/procedures to foresee pitfalls and bottlenecks and ensure these are audited/resolved.
  • Provide suggestions for improvement to existing processes/systems to line management.

As a Credit Audit Expert, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our credit audit processes. Your expertise and leadership skills will enable you to effectively lead teams and drive results.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in credit auditing, preferably in Wholesale Banking and SME segments.
  • Strong understanding of RBI regulations and Tranche III requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
