Key Responsibilities- Execute accounting principles in compliance with internal SOX, Anti-Corruption and Operational Controls for general ledger accuracy, audit accuracy and reporting accuracy.
- Structured data entry including vendor invoices, vendor master data, payment voids and related clearing, vendor freight claims, vendor invoice and goods receipt clearing, sales and cash clearing.
- Standard report generation and distribution.
- Group email box administration including responses to vendors and/or internal customers.
- Reply to 3rd party partners via structured responses.
- General ledger and sub-ledger clearing.
- Identify irregularities and variances against audit and controls criterion.
- Prepare monthly black book accounts (general ledger balance sheet reconciliations).
- Analyze incoming questions or variances and determine routing to correct team.
- Assist with special projects and ad-hoc analysis.
- Identify areas of opportunity and recommend solutions for achieving optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred.
- Advanced degree or CPA a plus.
- 2 years of experience in accounting, finance operations or related.
- Relevant SAP experience required.
- Strong PC skills. Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and Outlook.
