About the Role:

  • Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure completeness, accuracy, and reporting integrity.
  • Prepare, review, and post journal entries to record accrued expenses and amortize prepaid expenses.
  • Ensure accurate and timely period-end close by recording all transactions, posting journal entries, and reconciling accounts as needed.
  • Prepare variance analysis and explain variances to support key stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in finance or accounting.
  • 6-8 years of progressive experience in accounting operations, controllership, and record-to-report.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
  • Experience with control environments, risk excellence, SOX, RCSA controls, and financial systems.

Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.

Location: Boston, Massachusetts.
