Accounting Professional

We are seeking a skilled Accounting Professional to join our organization. As an Accounting Professional, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health and stability of our organization.

  • You will be responsible for keeping all accounts current, including inventory, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, reconciling bank accounts, reconciling credit cards, entering expenses, and all other actions related to entering and reconciling financial transactions.
  • You will process purchase orders, bills, vendor credits, and reconcile vendor accounts.
  • You will prepare estimates, invoices, credit memos, and reconcile customer accounts.
  • You will calculate, report, and remit sales taxes and royalties.
  • You will perform general accrual accounting tasks.
  • You will monitor budgets and cash flow to ensure financial stability.
  • You will prepare and send year-end tax documents to vendors and accountants.
  • You will generate periodic financial reports as assigned.
  • You will perform journal entries as needed and respond to requests for information from external accounting firms to complete quarterly and yearly tax filings.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in written and spoken English, are required.
  • Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and resilient individuals with strong problem-solving abilities are preferred.
  • Experience with inventory management tools (SKU Vault) and Adobe Acrobat Sign is necessary.
  • Shipstation experience is also required.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Proven 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting is necessary.
  • Proficiency with accounting practices is essential.
