Job Summary

This role is focused on the management of intercompany transactions, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting, finance, or a related field, with strong leadership and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accountants or accounting clerks in maintaining intercompany transactions.
  • Implement accounting policies under the direction of the Accounting Manager.
  • Capture, track, and report intercompany pre-close and post month-end activities.
  • Compile, review, analyze, and record complex movements of transactions, balance confirmations, and deviations.
  • Review account reconciliations prepared by accountants and accounting clerks.
  • Review and interpret audit and entity intercompany queries; lead and support intercompany daily & monthly activities.
  • Investigate and resolve issues relating to intercompany transactions.
  • Evaluate accuracy of reporting in multiple currencies and conversion techniques to US$.
  • Manage month-end accounting consolidation and US$ submission process for global entities' results.
  • Promote common accounting by maintaining global setups and reporting.
  • Closure of intercompany processes and reconciliation as per requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality of organizational information.

Qualifications

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • Strong leadership and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage staff, train, lead, and develop.
  • Familiarity with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
