**Network Security Engineer Role**This position involves managing the life cycle of Wide Area Network, internet connections, network traffic management, LAN, DNS/DHCP and all other aspects of connectivity for offices and partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting digital transformation and cloud services adoption.We are seeking a technical support specialist to work in our Network Operations team. This individual will handle IT service management including Incident management, Problem management, Change management for all IT network technologies. They will work on technical design, functionality, configuration, performance and quality of connectivity.The key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Analyzing production network issues and resolving them
  • Working in US time zone for operational shift support and providing required guidance to NOC
  • Resolving incident tickets end-to-end and finding ways to resolve or provide technical workarounds
  • Providing technical updates during incident management
  • Engaging OEM and service providers to troubleshoot issues and escalate to get them resolved
  • Escalating complex network issues to L4 engineers for support
  • Performing advanced troubleshooting and resolving complex network security issues
  • Conducting regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
We require a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Telecommunications/Information Technology/Computer Science. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in network services and management in complex environments. A deep understanding of network technologies such as TCP/IP, VRRP, DNS, ARP, STP, Trunking, Port Channeling, VRF, IPsec, and TLS is essential. Proficiency in routing protocols like OSPF, ISIS, BGP, Route Policy, QoS, VRRP, Multicast, LDP, and MPLS is also necessary.A hands-on experience with FortiGate Firewall and proxy or equivalent is a must. Knowledge of IPv6 WAN routing architecture and deployment expertise is desirable. Additional skills such as scripting and automation tools for network management, knowledge of Nokia Router product, and expertise in handling complex routing design and issues in a multi-vendor environment would be an added advantage.We follow ITIL processes and expect the candidate to have good knowledge of Enterprise WAN, LAN, wireless networks, virtualization, and load balancers.
