Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Data Governance Lead to spearhead our data privacy initiatives, ensuring seamless compliance with global regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement robust data governance frameworks across industries, aligning with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct comprehensive privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and data protection impact assessments (DPIAs), providing actionable insights.
  • Design, review, and enhance privacy policies, procedures, and governance frameworks to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Implement and monitor privacy controls, including data subject rights, consent management, and cross-border data transfer mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with IT, Legal, and Risk functions to ensure privacy compliance in technology and business processes, driving awareness through training programs.
  • Prepare and present strategic reports to senior management and clients on privacy risks, compliance gaps, and remediation strategies.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 4 to 10 years of experience in data governance, information security, or compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations, including ISO 27701 and ISO 27001.
  • Hands-on experience with data audits, assessments, and compliance programs, with the ability to manage client engagements and lead teams.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a strong track record of delivering projects within timelines.
