Electro-Mechanical Thermal Design Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned mechanical thermal engineer with hands-on experience in designing electro-mechanical packaging for telecom industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing optimized printed circuit board (PCB) sizes and outlines, as well as sheet-metal enclosures to meet performance and cost targets.
The ideal candidate will have 13 years of experience in mechanical design, thermal simulation validation, and project layout studies. A strong background in implementing thermal designs for standalone and rack-mount chassis systems is essential.
Required Skills and Qualifications- FloTherm thermal simulation expertise is required.
- Hands-on experience with thermal and airflow validation techniques using thermocouples data acquisition systems, flow-benches (wind-tunnel), flow sensors, and concepts of acoustic measurements.
- Experience in 3D modeling of sheet-metal enclosure and PCB layout designs would be an added advantage.
- Excellent oral written communication skills and ability to interact with customers on project objectives.
- Good understanding of safety and regulatory compliance requirements for telecom equipment.
