Product Test Engineer - Mechanical DVT

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Test Engineer with expertise in mechanical design for verification and validation (DVT) of electro-mechanical products.

  • We require experience testing electro-mechanical products including impact, vibration, water spray, solid ingress, electrical performance/safety, polymer behavior/properties, cables, and connectors.
  • A strong background in testing to international standards is essential, including UL 1741, UL 6703, UL 9703, EN 60512, EN 60352, and IEC 60529.
  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in plastics, sheet-metal, casting part test, and manufacturing process.
  • Good exposure on cable assemblies, ECAD/MCAD integrations, structural, and thermal test considerations is required.
  • A good understanding of CAD packages like Solid Works or EPDM is expected.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with 6+ years of industry work experience in product test and validation or master's degree in mechanical engineering with 4+ years of industry work experience in product test and validation.
  • Ability to perform product testing independently and collaborate with other team members.
  • Experience in designing and building test equipment.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous employment in high-power and consumer products industries would be an advantage.
About the Role

This role requires a high level of autonomy, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Travel to customer locations may be required occasionally.
