Scrum Master Job Description

As a Scrum Master, you will play a key role in enabling high-performing teams to deliver innovative solutions. You will be responsible for facilitating planning increment events and all Scrum ceremonies. Additionally, you will coach the team on Agile best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Team Facilitation & Agile Coaching:
  • Facilitate Planning Increment (PI) events and all Scrum ceremonies;
  • Coach the team on Agile best practices;
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement;

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery & Execution Support:
  • Remove impediments and shield the team from external distractions;
  • Ensure sprint goals are met and aligned with ART-level PI Objectives;
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and Product Managers to maintain a healthy backlog.

SAFe & ART Alignment:

  • Coordinate with other Scrum Masters and the Release Train Engineer to ensure cross-team alignment;
  • Support the team in meeting ART-level commitments and improving flow metrics.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment;
  • 2+ years working in a SAFe environment, ideally within an Agile Release Train;
  • Experience supporting teams building AI/ML or data-driven products;
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills;
  • Familiarity with Agile metrics and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Scrum Master and/or SAFe Scrum Master;
  • Background in data science, AI/ML, or software engineering;
  • Experience in regulated industries such as banking or fintech.
