Treasury Specialist Job Description

A key member of our financial operations team, the Treasury Specialist will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our financial transactions.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage margin calls and collateral to minimize risk exposure.
  • Perform cash and position reconciliations across various products and platforms.
  • Execute and monitor internal transfers for timely and accurate settlements.
  • Oversee payment processing and SWIFT transactions to maintain compliance and accuracy standards.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and ensure seamless communication.
  • Support Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation and compliance processes.
  • Provide assistance in foreign exchange (FX) transactions and related treasury operations.
  • Identify process gaps and contribute to efficiency improvements within the cash management function.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience in cash management, treasury, or derivatives operations.
  • Strong understanding of margin models, collateral management, and reconciliations.
  • Knowledge of financial products including derivatives (futures, forwards, options, swaps), FX, and related instruments.
  • Hands-on experience with payment systems, SWIFT, and settlement processes.
  • Exposure to KYC requirements and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial tools; familiarity with treasury/settlement systems is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
