Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a seasoned financial expert to drive operational finance excellence. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for streamlining and automating transactional activities across the organization.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in F&A, with a strong track record of identifying value-add opportunities. You will work closely with stakeholders to implement effective end-to-end solutions that drive enhanced efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance to global procedures and operating methodologies in transactional areas and refine them on an ongoing basis
  • Provide expert knowledge of procure-to-pay (P2P) processes and SAP systems to guide service providers and improve efficiency
  • Understand and improve vendor management and related metrics
  • Identify opportunities for process simplification and automation using robotics process automation (RPA) solutions
  • Review and revise global standard operating procedures (SOPs) to align with improved processes and practices
  • Ensure consistent levels of service delivery by service providers and engage with units to improve or sustain them
  • Define and update risk and control matrices (RACM), review and resolve RACM audit findings, and support internal and external audit teams
  • Provide support and guidance to the business through implementation of standardized processes and controls, monitoring compliance with group policies and regulations
  • Plan and conduct reviews on financial and operational aspects and identify control deficiencies

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A qualified accountant with at least 5 years of experience in F&A, with at least 3 years of exposure to operational finance preferred
  • Semi-qualified accountants with at least 8 years of accounting and finance experience, with at least 3 years of exposure to operational finance preferred
  • Strong leadership skills, experience in operating with senior finance teams, leading and developing remote teams
  • Non-positional influencing skills
  • Hands-on knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Internal accounting standards knowledge
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in SAP finance modules and advanced MS Excel
  • English proficiency

Strategic thinking, stakeholder management, pro-activeness, communication, ability to challenge, persuade, and influence, conflict management, analytical and logical thinking skills, emotional intelligence, growth mindset, and soft skills are highly desirable.
