Job Description:

The Total Reward Centre of Excellence plays a pivotal role in driving business performance and individual growth at BT Group.

We are embarking on a new chapter where total reward solutions will drive outstanding outcomes and support strategic business aspirations.

As a senior specialist, you will lead the development of customer-centric, data-led solutions that deliver differentiated results.

You will operate at a high level of conceptual thinking, guiding the business through change and risk management, ensuring total reward practices are future-proofed and customer-centric.

Your key accountabilities include:

  • Providing expert total reward advice, guidance, and insight to business units, developing tailored solutions that meet their needs.
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of total reward, driving improved business performance.
  • Driving leadership and line manager understanding of the value and impact of total reward adoption and use.
  • Collaborating with HR and CoE teams to leverage opportunities to enable managers to make informed total reward decisions.

You will implement and embed total reward programmes, enhancing total reward value as part of the Employer Value Proposition (EVP).

Key skills required include:

  • Business partnering: leading partnerships with leaders to translate business goals into total reward strategies.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills: demonstrating strong analytical ability to analyze data, identify root causes, develop effective solutions, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Change and project delivery: highly proficient in change management techniques to facilitate smooth transition of total reward change.
  • Storytelling with data/business insights: strong skills in building the case for total reward change, drawing on data and analytical insights.

You will be expected to have experience in leading change, managing pension, compensation, and benefit plans, and establishing collaborative relationships across HR and the business.
