
HR Generalist

As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring statutory compliance, managing industrial relations, union administration, recruitment, employee relations, and learning and development.
Your primary role will be to assist in executing HR strategy for the unit, including implementing performance review procedures quarterly/annually and evaluations. Additionally, you will develop fair HR policies and ensure employees understand and comply with them.
You will also implement effective sourcing, screening, and interviewing techniques, assess training needs, and coordinate learning and development initiatives for all employees.
Furthermore, you will monitor the HR department's operations, act as the point of contact regarding labor legislation issues, manage employees' grievances, create and run referral bonus programs, and review current HR technology to recommend more effective software.
Your responsibilities will also include measuring employee retention and turnover rates, as well as overseeing daily operations of the HR department.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required
- Proven experience in HR generalist role preferred
- Strong understanding of employment law and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work in fast-paced environment
