">About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineering Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and drive problem resolution for customers on Juniper routing platforms
  • Narrow down reported problems, replicate customer issues in a lab environment, and provide final fixes to customers
  • Work with knowledgeable customers and partners as an escalation point for other teams within the organization
  • Act as a customer advocate for timely resolution of problems reported, understand network environments and business impact
  • Participate in cross-functional tasks such as new product development projects, create knowledge bases and whitepapers
Requirements
  • B.E. in Electronics Engineering or Computer Science with at least 8+ years of experience in the Networking industry
  • Troubleshooting, implementation, and support of large IP networks (preferably Service Provider)
  • Excellent customer handling and communication skills, with experience in directly interacting with global customers
Skills and Qualifications
  • Thorough understanding of IP packet flow, OSI layers, Layer 3 technologies (ICMP, TCP, IPSec, GRE, QoS, VRRP), and IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS , RIP)
  • Layer 2 technologies (Ethernet, VLAN, STP, RSTP, ARP, PPP, MLPPP, LACP) and experience with PTP/SyncE protocols
  • Understanding/exposure/expertise in one or more areas: MPLS, VPLS, L2 VPNs, L3 VPN, EVPN, VxLAN, MPLS Traffic Engineering, LDP, RSVP, Segment Routing, Multicast technologies (NG-MVPN, PIM)
  • Perl/Unix/Expect/Python scripting and preferred certifications: JNCIS-SP, JNCIE-SP/DC/ENT, CCIE-SP or equivalent
