About the Role:

Our Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Connectivity Network Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the consulting, design, deployment, and support of enterprise-wide networking solutions, both on-premises and in the cloud. This role requires a deep understanding of modern networking technologies, high-level troubleshooting skills, and the ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across the business.

You will work on high-impact global projects involving business, industrial, and Process Control Networks (PCN), contributing to Our Client's evolving digital platform strategies and ensuring robust, secure connectivity across all environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain business and industrial communication networks that deliver strategic value across various business functions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and consultant on networking for enterprise projects, including mergers, divestitures, and cloud migrations.
  • Provide Tier 3 escalation support for LAN/WAN/DC networks and CORE WAN issues.
  • Analyze network security requirements and implement solutions aligned with corporate policies, efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Design and develop network hardware and configurations across LAN, Campus, Data Center, Remote WAN, CORE, Extranet, and more.
  • Implement and troubleshoot Wi-Fi LAN controllers, WAN acceleration technologies, and collaboration service configurations.
  • Gather requirements, liaise with internal/external stakeholders, and produce design documentation and test plans.
  • Participate in and support business continuity (BCP) and disaster recovery (DRP) exercises.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth transition of new technologies and solutions.
  • Develop and implement infrastructure processes including change, ticketing, usage tracking, and lifecycle management.
  • Support network automation, continuous improvement initiatives, and operational efficiency enhancements.
  • Follow standardized change management protocols when implementing technical changes.
  • Share and document best practices across the global network engineering team.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8–12 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering roles.
  • Strong expertise in designing and implementing LAN/WAN, Data Center, and wireless networking solutions.
  • Proficiency in network security architecture, protocols, and lifecycle management.
  • Experience with Wi-Fi controller systems, WAN accelerators, and network collaboration services.
  • Sound understanding of Azure and cloud network infrastructures.
  • Proven ability to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable network designs.
  • Familiarity with automation tools and practices in networking.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global team environment and manage multiple priorities.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with industrial/PCN networks and RF protocols.
  • Exposure to Agile or DevOps environments.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, Azure Network Engineer Associate, etc.
