We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Support Engineer to manage second-level support and service requests for our critical network infrastructure. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation and high availability of our local and remote networks. You will be responsible for network analysis, design, advanced troubleshooting, and providing expert support across a range of network technologies. This is a hands-on role requiring strong expertise in data center environments, firewalls, and Cisco networking.

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide second-level support and service request fulfillment for all network-related incidents and inquiries, escalating to third-level as necessary.

- Perform network analysis and design for new implementations, expansions, and optimizations of local and remote network infrastructure.

- Deliver top-level technical support for network issues, ranging from assisting with the implementation of new networks to complex troubleshooting of outages across local and remote sites.

- Diagnose and resolve advanced network problems related to, but not limited to :

1. Routers (e.g., Cisco Routers)

2. Switches (e.g., Cisco L3 switches, HP switches)

3. Firewalls (e.g., Fortinet Firewalls, with strong preference for Fortinet)

4. Wireless Access Points

- Manage network configurations, perform upgrades, and implement patches to ensure optimal performance and security.

- Collaborate with other IT teams and vendors to resolve complex issues and ensure seamless service delivery.

- Maintain accurate network documentation, including configurations, diagrams, and troubleshooting procedures.

- Participate in on-call rotations as required to provide 24/7 support for critical network incidents.

Required Skills & Experience :

Mandatory :

- Extensive Data Center Working Experience : Proven hands-on experience working within data center environments, understanding their unique network requirements and challenges.

- Firewalls : Strong expertise in firewall configuration, management, and troubleshooting. Fortinet Firewall experience is highly preferred.

- Cisco Networks : In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Cisco Routers and Cisco L3 Switches.

Other Key Skills :

- Proficiency with HP switches.

- Experience with Access Points configuration and troubleshooting.

- Demonstrated ability to perform network analysis, design, and implementation.

- Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, VPNs, etc.).

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and diagnostic skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE) are a significant plus.
