PMS Operations Specialist Job Description:

This is a challenging role for a highly motivated and organized professional to join our team as a PMS Operations Specialist. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our enterprise software, JiBe.

The primary objective of this role is to provide expert-level support in the analysis, documentation, and testing of JiBe modules, ensuring seamless integration with client requirements. Your strong organizational skills, combined with your ability to understand complex technical concepts, will enable you to deliver high-quality results.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze various aspects of PMS data, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to enhance system efficiency.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document client requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.
  3. Conduct thorough testing of JiBe modules, identifying and reporting any defects or discrepancies.
  4. Develop and maintain detailed documentation on system functionality, user guides, and technical specifications.
  5. Deliver training sessions to internal and external stakeholders on PMS operations, highlighting best practices and system features.
  6. Provide exceptional customer support, addressing queries and resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes, ensuring our systems remain compliant and cutting-edge.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 3rd/4th Engineer or equivalent with minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Shore experience in a shipping management company as a PMS coordinator/controller, preferably with an educational background in naval architecture and marine engineering.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise computing needs, particularly in ship management companies.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent written and spoken English language skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
