Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Title
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of our products. The successful candidate will have experience in quality control and assurance, quality engineering, and quality management.
About the Role
This is a full-time position for a Quality Assurance Specialist located on-site. The role involves ensuring quality control throughout the manufacturing process, conducting quality audits, and implementing quality management systems. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities
- Develop and Maintain Quality Management System (QMS): Establish, document, and implement procedures, work instructions, and standards that align with industry certifications like ISO 9001 or IATF 16949.
- Quality Planning and Process Control: Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T, develop inspection plans, implement Statistical Process Control (SPC), and conduct First Article Inspection (FAI).
- Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions: Investigate defects, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Inspection and Metrology: Perform hands-on inspections using manual and advanced measurement tools, including CMMs and profilometers.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze quality data, lead improvement projects, and train staff on new quality procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Experience in Quality Control and Assurance, Quality Engineering, and Quality Management.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
