Job Title: Cloud Computing Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Computing Engineer to design and implement scalable data engineering solutions on advanced cloud-based projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in cloud computing, data modeling, optimization, and pipeline orchestration.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines using BigQuery, Dataflow, DataProc, and Cloud Composer.
  • They will also be responsible for implementing Big Data Analytics solutions leveraging Hadoop, Hive, and Spark on GCP.
  • Furthermore, they will write efficient queries and scripts with SQL, PySpark, and Python for large-scale data processing.
  • The candidate will work with orchestration and messaging tools like Airflow, Kafka, Git, Jenkins, and manage CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities are essential for this role.
  • The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and apply Agile methodologies in project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in GCP Data Engineering (BigQuery, Dataflow, DataProc, PySpark, Python, Cloud Composer)
  • Proficiency with Tableau or MicroStrategy for reporting and dashboards
  • Strong foundation in data modeling, optimization, and pipeline orchestration
