Cloud Data Specialist

  • Collaborate closely with data scientists to create sophisticated algorithms providing unique insights into our vast dataset.
  • Utilize agile software development methodologies to implement iterative enhancements to our back-end systems.
  • Develop models for front-end and back-end data sources to provide a comprehensive view of user interactions throughout the system, empowering powerful data analysis.
  • Design and build data pipelines that clean, transform, and aggregate data from diverse sources.
  • Develop predictive models answering critical business questions.

Key Qualifications and Skills

  • At least 3 years of experience in Python, SQL, and data visualization/exploration tools.
  • Familiarity with Bigdata & Google Cloud.
  • Proven expertise in Google Cloud Bigdata toolset BigQuery, Airflow, CI/CD with Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard visualization and analytics tools (e.g. Tableau, R).
  • Proficiency in Core Java, Linux, SQL, and any scripting language.
  • Experience with Python, Spark, and Hive.
  • Strong communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical business leaders.
  • Ability to work on dynamic research-oriented teams managing multiple concurrent projects.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in building or maintaining ETL processes.
  • Professional certification.
