Procurement Excellence Opportunity

The successful candidate will lead the Contracts & Procurement Function, fostering a culture of excellence in procurement practices. This role requires strategic thinking, leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain thorough records throughout the tendering process to ensure seamless handover to Project/Operations teams.
  • Provide commercial advice to Project Management and Operations Teams, ensuring informed decision-making.
  • Promote best practices to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Liaise between suppliers, manufacturers, internal departments, and clients to drive collaborative outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain Contracts & Procurement strategies and policies.
  • Identify major commercial risks or issues and collaborate with Management to find optimal solutions.
  • Produce reports and statistics to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare accurate and cost-effective pricing for tenders, considering vendor positions and market forces.
  • Participate in audits as required and attend meetings and trade conferences to stay up-to-date on industry trends.

Requirements:

  • Leadership experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel locally and internationally as required.
