Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) / DevOps Engineer

This role involves working on the reliability, scalability, and performance of software systems. Strong expertise in Python development and AWS cloud platforms is required.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform / CloudFormation on AWS.
  • Develop automation scripts and tools in Python for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance tasks.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK stack, CloudWatch.
  • Improve system reliability, availability, and performance through proactive analysis and capacity planning.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures.
  • Apply cloud security best practices, IAM role management, and automated compliance checks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in Python development and AWS cloud platforms.
  • Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK stack, CloudWatch.
  • Good understanding of software development life cycle and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
