ERP Consultant - Supply Chain Expert

We are seeking a seasoned ERP consultant to join our team. As an expert in supply chain management, you will be responsible for working directly with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into end products.

  • You will work closely with decision-makers and key users to gather requirements and recommend optimal business processes relative to ERP functionality.
  • With your knowledge of manufacturing business processes, you will devise methods to implement them with the ERP application.
  • You will conduct functional assessments at client sites within the manufacturing, distribution, and planning areas.
  • Your task will include configuring and testing the ERP to perform specific functionality that satisfies business requirements.
  • You will assist with full-site implementations and upgrades, which include pilot testing, data validation, development of data transformation rules and governance procedures, and post-implementation support.
  • You will troubleshoot ERP anomalies and process issues.
  • You will maintain documentation related to ERP implementation/upgrade.
  • You will interact with business users for training, problem-solving, and automation of business processes.
  • You will identify and communicate opportunities to improve current processes and procedures.
  • You will assess the impacts of system changes and ensure effective delivery of application functionality and integration.
  • You will liaise between clients and developers to help define custom programming needs.

Requirements

  • At least 5-7 years of hands-on experience with implementing or supporting ERP applications. Candidates with experience in implementing and supporting Infor LN ERP in a manufacturing/distribution/planning environment are strongly preferred.
  • You should be well-versed with Infor LN 10.7 On-prem or Cloud Edition modules of – Supply Chain (PUR, SLS, WH, and CI).
  • A strong functional knowledge in your area of expertise is required. Business experience in the same domain area is preferred.
  • You should have demonstrated experience with the creation of functional specifications, creation & execution of test cases.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required. Equivalent experience in Materials Management, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, or Factory Supervision is considered.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical ideas to non-technical audiences are essential.

Additional Requirements

  • The ability to speak any European language (e.g., basic French, German, or Italian) would be an added advantage.
  • You should be willing to travel to on-site locations as per project needs.
