Implementing and supporting Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications requires a deep understanding of business processes and technical skills. This role involves working with clients to understand their requirements and translating them into ERP solutions.

  • Consultants in this position will work closely with decision-makers and end-users to gather requirements and recommend optimal business processes relative to ERP functionality.
  • They must have knowledge of manufacturing business processes and be able to devise methods to implement them with the ERP application.
  • This includes conducting a functional assessment at a client site within the manufacturing / distribution / planning areas.
  • Consultants will configure and test ERP to perform specific functionality to satisfy business requirements.
  • They will also assist with full site implementations and upgrades, which include pilot testing, data validation, development of data transformation rules and governance procedures, and post-implementation support.
  • Troubleshooting ERP anomalies and process issues is also a critical aspect of this role.
  • Maintaining documentation relative to ERP implementation/upgrade is essential for the success of the project.
  • Interacting with business users for training, problem-solving, and automation of business processes is key to delivering high-quality results.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve current processes and procedures is an ongoing responsibility of this role.
  • Assessing impacts of system changes and ensuring effective delivery of application functionality and integration is crucial.
  • Liaising between client and developers to help define custom programming needs is also an important part of this job.

Key Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience with implementing or supporting ERP applications is required. Candidates with experience in implementing and supporting Infor LN ERP in a manufacturing / distribution / planning environment are strongly preferred.
  • Strong functional knowledge in Supply Chain modules, such as Purchase, Sales, and Central Invoicing, is essential.
  • Knowledge of tp-Project module and Product Configurator is an added advantage.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required. Equivalent experience in Materials Management, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, or Factory Supervision is also considered.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary to communicate complex technical ideas to non-technical audiences.

Additional Requirements

  • The ability to speak any European language, such as basic French, German, or Italian, is an added advantage.
  • Travel to on-site locations may be required for certain projects.
