Job Summary

As an Enterprise Platforms Specialist at Astellas Pharma Inc., you will be responsible for designing, developing, and configuring business platforms to meet the specific needs of our organization. This will involve programming, configuring settings, and integrating various software solutions. You will also ensure seamless integration between different business platforms and systems, monitor performance, and implement optimizations to improve efficiency and user experience. Additionally, you will provide technical support to platform users, resolve issues, and conduct training sessions to ensure users can effectively utilize the platforms. You will actively participate in and contribute to various initiatives, applying your specialized skills to achieve the objectives and expected Value. You will also work collaboratively with team members within the subdivision and across other digital and business units. You will engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in a specific area of expertise. You will contribute innovative ideas and approaches to enhance project outcomes and digital capabilities. You will regularly report on the progress of the various Value Teams and outcomes to your Capability Lead and team members. You will employ analytical and problem-solving skills to overcome project challenges and deliver effective solutions. You will ensure the highest quality and consistency in the work delivered.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering or information systems, or STEM Degree
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, Strategic thinking and thought leadership capabilities; ability to institutionalize new tools, processes, and technologies
  • Knowledge of implementation project life cycles including blueprinting, configuration, testing, cut-over and go-live support
  • At least 2 years of SAP end-to-end implementation experience and at least one S/4HANA Implementation / upgrade experience
  • Ability to adapt to fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks at a time and self-motivated to learn advanced technologies
  • 5 years of progressive hands-on experience in developing S4HANA ABAP, Adobe interactive forms, ALE/IDOCs, Smartforms
  • Extensive prior experience in the field of S4HANA ABAP and Object oriented programming, Interface programming, RFC, ODATA, BAPI , Web-UI , SOAP,XML, Web-dynpro , ABAP on HANA using Eclipse
  • You have hands on experience on SAP enhancement techniques like exits, BADI, and new enhancement framework (AIF)
  • Basic Knowledge of functional modules like FI/CO, SD, MM, Purchasing, HR etc.
  • 5 years of experience in developing in UI5/Fiori, Gateway, and OData technologies, IDocs, Proxies & Webservices
  • 4 years of experience in developing CDS Views and HANA views
  • 2 years of experience working with agile software design methodology for development and documentation
  • Strong experience in Workflow, Flexible Workflows
  • Experience in ALE/EDI IDOCs
  • Excellent ABAP debugging and strong troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to interface with the business
  • Certification in SAP ABAP or related modules preferred
  • Experience on Fiori Custom Fields and Logic (CFL) for modifications to standard SAP tables, Fiori apps
  • Experience with SAP S/4 HANA - Data Modeling using HANA Studio, ABAP Development Tools (ADT), Code Performance Rules and Guidelines for SAP HANA, AMDP, code push down techniques, CDS and backend OData services, Native SQL, ABAP Core data Services
  • Knowledge of using ABAP RESTful Programming Model ABAP Development for SAP S/4HANA
  • Experience in Application of SAP correction instructions, hot notes, SPAU & SPDD during upgrades
