Cybersecurity Sales Leadership

The Cybersecurity Sales Director will spearhead and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth for cybersecurity products and services in the Indian market. This role requires building and maintaining strong relationships with key enterprise clients, developing strategic sales plans, and achieving business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute a detailed sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets for cybersecurity products and services in India.
  • Client Engagement: Foster and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders, including CISOs, CTOs, and other decision-makers, to promote cybersecurity solutions.
  • Pipeline Management: Oversee the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to deal closure, ensuring accurate forecasting and pipeline management using CRM tools.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify client needs, assess competitor activities, and align solutions with industry trends and regulatory requirements (e.g., CERT-In, NIST, GDPR, ISO 27001).
  • Solution Positioning: Collaborate with pre-sales and technical teams to design and present tailored cybersecurity solutions, including zero trust architecture, cloud security, SOC transformation, and OT security, demonstrating strong technical acumen to articulate complex solutions effectively.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product management, and technical teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with product offerings and customer needs.
  • Industry Representation: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote cybersecurity solutions and generate leads.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree (e.g., MBA) is preferred.
Experience:
  • Sales Experience: 8-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 3-5 years in cybersecurity sales or IT solution sales within India.
  • Track Record: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment, preferably with a cybersecurity OEM or system integrator.
Technical Knowledge:
  • Technical Acumen: Strong technical knowledge with in-depth understanding of cybersecurity technologies, including NGFWs, SIEM, cloud security (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), identity and access management (e.g., Okta, SailPoint), endpoint protection (e.g., CrowdStrike, Defender), and emerging technologies like AI-driven threat detection, SASE, and zero trust frameworks.
  • Tech Communication: Ability to discuss and demonstrate technical concepts, architectures, and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Industry Frameworks: Familiarity with industry frameworks such as NIST, CERT-In, MITRE ATT&CK, and ISO 27001.
