Job Title: Mobile Infrastructure Specialist

Seeking a highly skilled professional with expertise in deploying and managing mobile device management platforms, configuring security policies, and providing support resources for end users and IT staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish a comprehensive mobile device management system
  • Create Android Enterprise Accounts for app store management and user administration
  • Deploy an MDM platform compatible with Android only to facilitate unified management and policy enforcement via Microsoft Intune
  • Develop streamlined device enrollment processes, including bulk and self-service options, ensuring efficient onboarding of corporate mobile devices
  • Build and implement security policies covering encryption, password protocols, permitted applications, remote wipe, and secure connectivity to internal resources
  • Configure integration with internal Entra applications and tools, establishing secure authentication and authorization for mobile users
  • Provide support and training resources for end users and IT staff, including onboarding assistance, troubleshooting guides, and escalation procedures
  • Maintain ongoing oversight of the MDM environment, regularly updating policies and monitoring compliance, device health, and security threats
  • Architect and configure a mobile-based Android VPN solution to access applications not accessible via public cloud
  • Provide Tier 2/3 level support for tickets escalated for mobile device management enrollment/management/imaging issues from front-line IT teams and other internal IT resources during the hypercare period
  • Support transition of ownership and management of Intune Endpoint Platform to new providers or staff

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in mobile device management and mobile application management
  • Strong knowledge of MDM platforms and their deployment
  • Ability to configure security policies and provide support and training resources
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune and Android Enterprise
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
