Senior Java Developer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to take on new challenges and contribute to the success of our organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Java programming, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions. They will also have experience working with build tools such as Ant, Maven, and Gradle, as well as version control systems like Git.

The primary responsibilities of this role will include migrating our existing Ant-based build system to either Maven or Gradle, while preserving the current project structure. Additionally, they will be instrumental in establishing a robust CI/CD pipeline within GitHub to streamline our development and deployment processes.

The successful candidate will possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also have strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong proficiency in Java programming language
  • In-depth knowledge of Ant build tool and experience in migrating to Maven or Gradle
  • Understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with tools like GitHub Actions
  • Proficiency in version control systems (Git)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
