Database Administration Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our mission-critical database initiatives.

  • This position requires a skilled SQL Server DBA with strong expertise in upgrades, Always On Availability Groups, and cloud migrations.
  • The ideal candidate will play a key role in upgrading, migrating, and maintaining databases to ensure performance, availability, security, and scalability.
About the Position

This is a critical role for any organization looking to upgrade their database management capabilities. The right candidate will be able to implement effective solutions that meet business needs.

  • Maintain high-performance databases through continuous monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of queries, indexes, statistics, and execution plans.
  • Implement robust backup and recovery strategies to ensure minimal downtime in case of failures or data corruption.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA in enterprise environments.
  • Proven track record of upgrading SQL Server to 2022 in production environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Always On Availability Groups and other High Availability/Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS database migration using Database Migration Service (DMS), RDS, EC2, or hybrid solutions.
  • Proficiency in T-SQL development, performance tuning, and query optimization.
  • Solid understanding of backup/recovery strategies and database security.
