Job Overview

This role involves working closely with contract manufacturing partners to ensure smooth production and quality standards are met.

  • Production Oversight: Regular visits to vendor and manufacturing sites to oversee assembly and production activity, ensuring timely delivery and identifying deviations or blockers.
  • Process Implementation: Collaborating with design and engineering teams to implement work instructions, assembly procedures, and quality checkpoints at manufacturing sites.
  • Quality Control: Performing on-site quality checks for in-process and final inspection, creating and maintaining QC checklists, and defect reports.
  • Inventory & Dispatch Coordination: Tracking WIP at vendor sites, ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and shipment readiness.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintaining up-to-date production reports, rejection data, and issue trackers.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering.
  • 1–2 years of experience in production, assembly, or quality in a hardware startup or manufacturing setup.
  • Frequent travel to vendor and manufacturing sites.
  • Good understanding of assembly processes, tolerances, and inspection tools.
  • Comfortable reading engineering drawings and BOMs.
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills.

Key Responsibilities
