Key Role: Software Quality Assurance and Release Manager

The successful candidate will oversee the quality and timely release of products. They must define, implement, and maintain comprehensive testing procedures to ensure high-quality releases.

Responsibilities:
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute thorough testing strategies, utilizing a combination of manual and automated testing techniques.
  • Test Automation and Tools: Implement and manage test automation tools and frameworks to streamline the testing process.
  • Release Management: Coordinate and facilitate smooth software releases by collaborating with development teams.
  • Jira Configuration and Integration: Set up and configure Jira to track and manage work items, ensuring seamless integration and deployment.
Required Qualifications:
  • Software Development Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, with a focus on quality assurance and release management.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, or C++, is required.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, is highly desirable.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication and teamwork skills are necessary for success in this role.
Preferred Skills:
  • Cloud Computing Platforms: Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Azure, is advantageous.
  • DevOps Practices: Knowledge of DevOps practices, including continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), is highly desirable.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for identifying and resolving complex issues.

This position requires a proactive approach to quality assurance and release management. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated team player who can effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
