Chief Product Development Engineer

We are seeking an accomplished engineer to lead our product development efforts. This senior-level role will be responsible for capturing customer voice, understanding and executing milestones, conducting technical and project reviews, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include leveraging VAVE techniques to identify and implement cost-out opportunities, utilizing DFSS concepts and tools such as PDSC, P-Diagram, DFMEA, Risk Management & DVPR for new product development and/or existing product improvements, creating 3D models and drawings of new product designs and modifying existing drawings and models, and sustaining process for design standards and procedures governing product design methods, documents, and data control.

Required Skills

Technical Expertise:

  • Proficiency in CAD tools, preferably Pro/E or CATIA
  • Experience with PLM tool ENOVIA
  • Electrical motor design

Design Knowledge:

  • Engineering designs, drawings, tolerance stack-up analysis
  • Application engineering domain
  • Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DFMA)
  • Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), DMAIC methodology, and related tools
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 6-10 years of experience.
