Job Details

We are seeking a seasoned Data Fabric Lead to oversee the design and implementation of Microsoft Fabric solutions.

This is a contract position that can be extended, with a rate of $18-20 per hour. The ideal candidate will have experience working in IST time zones and prefer remote work arrangements.

The successful candidate will have at least 9 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in Azure Data Platform (ADF, Databricks, Synapse) and Microsoft Fabric. They should also have excellent leadership skills and experience managing teams of data engineers, BI developers, and analysts.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Solution Architecture: Design and implement Microsoft Fabric solutions, integrating with Power BI, Synapse, Data Factory, and other Azure services.
  • Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure data solutions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.
  • Innovation: Stay up-to-date with Microsoft Fabric features and updates to recommend improvements.
  • Data Strategy: Define and implement data ingestion, transformation, and storage strategies using Lakehouses, Data Warehouses, and Real-Time Analytics.
  • Governance: Establish data governance, security, and compliance frameworks within Microsoft Fabric.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize data pipelines and queries for performance and cost efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience: In Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Azure Data Services (Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake).
  • Strong understanding: Of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance.
