Job Title: Audit and Compliance Specialist

This role involves ensuring the highest standards of financial integrity and regulatory compliance across multiple regions. You will be responsible for coordinating statutory audits, managing month-end closing procedures, and preparing consolidated financial statements.


Responsibilities:

  • Statutory Audit Coordination: Lead statutory audits across all group entities, ensuring timely completion and minimal audit observations. Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants to facilitate audit and compliance processes.
  • Month-End Closing: Manage month-end closing procedures, including reconciliations and financial statement preparation. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Assist in preparing standalone and consolidated financial statements for different regions, in accordance with applicable accounting standards. Coordinate consolidation procedures, including elimination of inter-company transactions and balances.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and review corporate filings, including GST, TDS, and income tax returns. Coordinate with external tax consultants for US, UK, and UAE filings.
  • Compliance Calendar: Monitor statutory filing deadlines across all regions and ensure timely completion of annual returns, board meeting compliances, and regulatory submissions.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA): Qualified Chartered Accountant with 1–3 years of post-qualification experience in audit, tax, and compliance.
  • Month-End Closing Experience: Hands-on experience managing month-end closing procedures, including reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
  • Consolidated Financial Statements: Experience in preparing consolidated financial statements and understanding of consolidation procedures.
  • Tax Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of Indian tax laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax) and basic knowledge of international tax compliance.
  • SaaS Industry Exposure: Familiarity with SaaS accounting principles, including revenue recognition and deferred revenue management.
  • Multi-Entity Exposure: Familiarity with compliance requirements for multiple jurisdictions, preferably including the US, UK, or UAE.
