Legal Manager Job Overview

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will serve as a key advisor to our organization, providing expert guidance on legal and regulatory matters. This includes reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and closing commercial agreements, as well as supporting corporate legal affairs with expertise in Indian Companies Act, 2013, and related regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel and support to various business units
  • Develop and maintain standard form agreements and legal databases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Lead communication strategies to ensure consistent messaging across stakeholders

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess:

  • A Law Graduate from a recognized university
  • 3-5 years post-qualification experience, preferably from a law firm
  • Experience in fintech, banking, M&A, and/or general corporate legal matters
  • A strong knowledge of Indian regulatory frameworks
