Job Description:

As a Software Development Director, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of software engineers. You will oversee the entire software development life cycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, designers, and QA, to ensure seamless execution of projects. Your focus will be on ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.

Key responsibilities include conducting code reviews, providing technical guidance, and ensuring high-quality code delivery. You will also continuously improve development processes, tooling, and infrastructure to enhance team productivity.

Additionally, you will participate in architectural discussions and make technical decisions aligned with business goals. You will manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.

Other key responsibilities include identifying and resolving technical bottlenecks, risks, and issues promptly. You will contribute to the professional development of team members through mentoring, training, and knowledge-sharing.

Finally, you will implement engineering metrics-based management practices to measure and improve team performance.
