Job Title: Solution Architect-Payments

The Role of a Payments Solution Architect

A payments solution architect plays a crucial role in designing and implementing technical strategies for banking systems. They provide input to the strategic direction of technology investments to maximize return on investment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design end-to-end solutions for banking products, including retail, corporate, and digital banking.
  2. Develop architecture designs that align with industry standards and ensure security protocols are implemented.
  3. Provide architectural oversight for core banking systems, digital channels, and payment gateways.
  4. Ensure application scalability and cost savings through re-use of common solutions and architecture patterns.
  5. Collaborate with security teams to incorporate necessary safeguards into solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in a solution architecture role designing complex solutions.
  • Good understanding of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
  • Hands-on experience with software development and system administration.
  • Strong knowledge of various operating systems and databases.
  • Experience on Core Banking Systems and integrations to Mobile money transfer, USSD / SMS, Omni Channel, Internet Banking, ERP, UPI, IMPS, NEFT, RTGS, SWIFT, and CRM.
