Job Title: Content Strategist

Our company seeks a highly skilled Content Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our content development team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality content that engages and informs our audience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with internal teams to review and improve content for clarity, articulation, presentation, language, and writing style.
  • Review, edit, and create content for internal communication, including flyers, brochures, case studies, presentations, and reports as required.
  • Proofread and edit a large volume of content while adhering to our company style guide.
  • Work closely with external teams to create appropriate and relevant content for them.
  • Undertake research on industry-related topics to generate ideas for assigned projects.
  • Take the initiative to prepare and populate a rich content repository for the team.
  • Contribute to updates of the style guide or other standard documents being followed by the team and enhance the content management process within the team.

Must-have qualities:

  • A bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience in content writing with a focus on business writing and marketing content development.
  • Experience in business writing, preferably within the IT or Life Sciences industry.
  • Proven record of excellent writing demonstrated in a professional portfolio.
  • Ability to gather relevant information, analyze, and share meaningful insights and viewpoints.
  • Impeccable command of the English language.
  • Eye for detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good time management skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using Google Docs and MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS PowerPoint.

Good to have:

  • Knowledge of content marketing to create digital content.
  • Open to different forms of content such as UX writing, proposal writing, and writing research papers.
  • Knowledge of market and social media trends.
  • Relevant Business Writing or Content Marketing certifications.
  • A degree in Life Sciences or Computer Science would be an added advantage.
