Business Development Role

The Business Development Executive will focus on lead generation, proposal development, and client acquisition. Key responsibilities include generating and qualifying leads through various platforms, understanding client requirements, and preparing technically sound proposals for WordPress projects.

Key Activities:

  • Qualify and pursue business opportunities through platforms like Upwork and Freelancer.
  • Develop accurate, technically sound proposals for WordPress projects.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to scope project timelines, features, and cost estimates.
  • Share proposals, handle queries, and follow up with clients until closure.
  • Maintain proper lead tracking and communication history in project management tools.
  • Stay informed on trends in WordPress, plugins, page builders, PHP, and related services.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in business development or presales for IT/web development services.
  • Solid understanding of WordPress architecture, custom development, CMS usage, plugins, and themes.
  • Basic knowledge of hosting, domain configuration, or frontend/backend workflows.
  • Experience in creating technical documentation and client proposals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Familiarity with tools like Google Docs, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, ClickUp, Microsoft Teams, and Slack.
