Job Title

A leading tech firm is seeking an experienced Senior Wordpress and PHP Developer to join its remote team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in custom theme and plugin development, with excellent technical expertise and exceptional communication skills.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining high-performance and scalable web solutions using Wordpress, PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery. Key responsibilities include building dynamic and responsive websites, integrating third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services, optimizing website performance for speed, SEO, and scalability, troubleshooting and debugging issues, and collaborating remotely with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 3–4 years of professional experience in Wordpress and PHP development
  • Expertise in custom theme and plugin development
  • Strong proficiency in PHP and familiarity with frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter (optional but preferred)
  • Solid understanding of MySQL database design, optimization, and integration
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap
  • Experience integrating REST APIs and other third-party services
  • Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows in distributed teams
