About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Program Manager to utilize their expertise to lead medium-to-smaller and/or less complex programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success in program management and will be responsible for determining their own work priorities. They will also act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and will be expected to exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the scope of programs as defined by business requirements and budget processes Participate in key planning milestones and serve as a guide for the core program team from initiation through execution and completion.
  • Identify and obtain participation from required cross-functional core team members, including matrixed project managers, with guidance from Strategic Business Initiative or senior staff.
  • Create program plans and maintain program records Work with the core team to identify and schedule all the work required to fulfill program scope, including identification and management of critical path.
  • Support the development and implementation of key goals, objectives, and success criteria for the program Ensure proper documentation.
  • Assist in the budget and resource forecasting exercise.
  • Identify and analyze risks and issues.
  • Track and manage the program schedule and task details included in the program plan Analyze the actual performance against the plan and make adjustments consistent with plan objectives Work with Strategic Business Initiative to assist in action item resolution and track completion Ensure program milestones are accomplished and ensure overall timelines are met Document all major plan changes in scope, approach, and date delivery.
  • Communicate updates on major milestones and keep all stakeholders informed of progress and issues Manage proposed changes to program parameters and work with Enterprise Program Management and Program Managers to ensure appropriate processes and communications are followed.
  • Monitor and ensure quality of program deliverables Work with the core team and key field resources to develop and monitor deployment schedules, strategies, and tools to support the implementation of programs in the field through trials and controlled customer deployments.
