At Unacademy, we're seeking a highly skilled and motivated educator to create top-quality educational content for our Chinese Content division. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a small team and provide strategic direction to ensure our language learning app meets the needs of US-based learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Engaging Content: Design and develop engaging Mandarin Chinese language learning content tailored specifically for the US market.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Collaborate with the Content Head and other team members to ensure a cohesive, comprehensive curriculum that fits within the broader language learning program.
  • Utilize Feedback and Data Analytics: Utilize feedback and data analytics to refine content for maximum engagement and effectiveness, closely monitoring completion rates to enhance user retention.
  • Stay Informed on Current Trends: Stay informed on current trends in language education to bring fresh, innovative ideas to the content and maintain user curiosity.

Qualifications:

  • Language Skills: Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and strong English communication skills.
  • Content Creation Experience: Proven experience creating engaging content for language learning, ideally within digital platforms.
  • Leadership Ability: Demonstrated leadership ability with experience in team collaboration and mentorship.
  • Curriculum Development: Strong understanding of curriculum development and educational content strategy.
  • Creative Thinking: Creative thinker who is adept at leveraging data insights to boost user engagement.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Mandarin Chinese, Education, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
