Linux Development Opportunities
  • Develop and enhance our Linux environment on Ubuntu to meet evolving business needs.
  • Design, develop, and configure new features for Linux client instances to address business or IT security requirements.
  • Ensure the stability, reliability, and quality of the Linux environment on various hardware types and virtual machines through rigorous testing and assurance processes.
  • Provide expert support for users working with Linux-based infrastructure, leveraging existing service management processes.
  • Resolve integration issues between Linux systems and other company infrastructure components.
  • Oversee maintenance of Linux-specific servers and software repositories, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
Key Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in Linux principles and practices.
  • Experience in packaging and administering Linux distributions, particularly Ubuntu.
  • Proficiency in software development and scripting with languages like Bash, Python, and GNU utilities.
  • Efficient management of Linux software development processes and GIT-based CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Salt-Stack, Ansible, or Puppet.
  • Familiarity with modern Linux environments, including desktop virtualization and container runtime environments.
  • Excellent analytical and debugging skills under Linux.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality IT services and support.
