Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Linux System Administrator to fill this critical role at our organization. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in server management and administration.

  • Install, maintain, and decommission servers (physical/VM) with proficiency in Linux OS operations.
  • Utilize hypervisor operations (XEN and VMware) effectively.
  • Develop strong troubleshooting skills to resolve server down situations efficiently.
  • Manage physical servers and possess knowledge of automation tools (e.g., chef) and scripting languages (e.g., bash, Perl).
  • Additionally, have associate-level knowledge in at least one public cloud landscape (AWS, Azure, GCP) and be familiar with monitoring tools like Prometheus on docker setup or ELK stack.
  • Experience in using GitHub and Jira is beneficial, as well as knowledge of central infrastructure services such as Security Groups/RPM/Rsync/Mail/Active Directory/Chef automation/Nagios/repository management/Monitoring.
