Job Description

The Facility Officer is a key role within the organization, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance and operation of facilities to ensure a safe and comfortable working environment.

  • Facility Maintenance: Manage the upkeep and repair of facilities, ensuring all equipment and systems are functioning properly.
  • Security Management: Implement and maintain security protocols to safeguard premises, assets, and personnel, including monitoring surveillance systems and collaborating with security vendors.
  • Space Planning: Oversee the allocation and optimization of office space based on organizational needs, coordinating office moves, renovations, and space reconfigurations.
  • Vendor Management: Source, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring they adhere to agreed-upon service levels and standards.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations and guidelines, conducting regular safety inspections and implementing corrective actions.
  • Utilities Management: Oversee the management of utilities, including electricity, water, and other essential services, implementing energy-saving initiatives to reduce operational costs.
  • Emergency Response: Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and crisis management protocols, conducting regular drills to ensure preparedness.
