Job Description

The Lead - Livelihood Program Manager will oversee the implementation of livelihood activities across various regions, ensuring timely and effective delivery. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Support project teams to implement livelihood programs aligned with the project design, quality standards, and activity plans.
  2. Enhance technical quality through regular coordination with key stakeholders.
  3. Develop detailed implementation plans and budgets; support project teams in achieving objectives and targets.
  4. Issue directives and guidelines for timely implementation of project activities.
  5. Identify operational challenges and coordinate solutions with the project team and key stakeholders.
  6. Develop knowledge management products showcasing project impact.
  7. Promote reflective practices to refine strategies and approaches.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Social Work/Sciences, Entrepreneurship Development, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing livelihood or income generation programs in the social sector.
  • Experience in social business development is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience working with informal sectors and vulnerable workforce.
  • Strong understanding of social and environmental sustainability concepts.
  • Proficiency in English, Tamil, Bengali, and Telugu is essential.
